Very soon, I will be sending Sassy's hairs in for testing. So place you bets and I will let you know who all was right when I get the results

They will be testing for
1. Tobiano
2. red factor

I know but it increases the odds of getting it right.

You know, I wouldnt be surprised if she was homo black and tobi, though isnt tobi a "marker test" though there were some rumblings of them pinning down the actual gene(or one of them) but I dont know if I remember that correctly...

Heck, I dont have a clue what Im talking about.

I couldn't vote because her true color/pattern is not there. She is a Big Spot Appy - very rare. Unfortunately they are not homo like Few Spots, but Big Spots do throw Big Spot foals 75% of the time when crossed with Snowflakes.

I voted homo Tobi and hetero black. I am hoping for both for you. I had a paint mare that was homo tobi, lab results and all. She had the prettiest tiger paws as well.

I voted Homo for both...But I dont really know genes and all that.. Just a guess. I hope I am right....

Ill take a few hairs and a picture if I cant have the horse for winning..

Usually true blacks don't fade out as much as she has in those photos. But it can happen.
