What is he bred for?

I was looking at this colt and was wondering what he was bred to do? http://www.allbreedpedigree.com/doc+eyed+jack+two

He may have local breeding that I don't know, but to me he doesn't look like he's bred for anything in particular. More just working type bloodlines.

From his pedigree I'd say he's mostly working ranch type bred. Should be suitable for something along the lines of roping, maybe penning on a local level and any other working type activity.

For a bit of his background try looking at this ranch's website, www.pitzerranch.com

He is double bred Two Eye Jack and also has Doc Bar Top and Three Bars bottom. Non of them are really close (3-4 or so Generations back). The TEJ lines tend to be ropers you do not see that line is most cutting reining bred horses nor even WP or any others to offten. Now Doc Bar that line gose many differnt ways. You will see him in cutters reiners even some WP and other disaplines.

Over all he will make a nice working Gelding. Should be fairly solid with a fairly good mind with the Doc Bar. The Three Bars is quite a ways back however you tend to see his influance through many generations so I would think there would be some speed in there too. Again good for ropers and even some speed events.
