Which one? Poll...thanks!

Which stallion do you think would compliment Mystique the best?

HP Abar Nibal

Prowlerr

Gunner

You have all see Myst but here she is:

http://i271.photobucket.com/albums/j...rse/m2ehs1.jpg
http://i271.photobucket.com/albums/j...se/80490_5.jpg

Her main conformational fault that I'd like to attempt to correct is the fact that she's a bit downhill.

I actually want two different types of foal, either a western type reining horse or a english type dressage or saddleseat type horse.

So, there are videos on the site, and photos, and pedigree information.

Here is Mystique's pedigree for referrence:

I really appreciate everyone's input. I'll be making the decision of course but I enjoy getting a good HTian perspective as well. You guys are great.

What happened with the other stallion? I know he's not one of the choices, but I really liked him (for her).

I am really not sure which one I would pick between these three.

I find the first stallion would not be the best choice as he appears to be a bit downhill and not the best match. He also did not show himself well ( owners fault) so remains unappealing. Not WOW'ed by his foals either.

The last one Gunner the Pintabian has flash but is quite laid back with decent conformation but not particularly athletic. If you wanted a pleasure/trail/family type horse then I would go for him.

The middle one Prowlerr shows the most of what you look for in an Arabian. He is athletic and good looking with nice conformation to boot. I believe he will improve the front end of your mare better than the other two.

So it really is what you want in your baby.

I love that black arabian Darq in her pedigree. Do breeders linebreed in horses? I would double up on Darq and have a black colt just dreaming.

Nice breeding in your mare...I haven't been around the arabian world for close to 20 years...but I recognize quite a few in her pedigree...I agree also that the second stallion, Prowlerr represents the arabian breed much better than the others. Theres just little things that I didn't like about the other two, but I really liked Prowlerr. Good luck on your choice, and I hope you get what you are hoping for!!

I don't like any of those studs, I'd go for one that at least has a name for himself You'd get more for the foal if you ever had to sell it anyway

I agree, out of the 3 choices you have given I would say Prowler.
I would suggest continue looking however, as I am not sure that the marketability is there for Russian Arabs.

I like Prowlerr.. He just has more action and can do what you want to do with the foal.. Depending on your mares movement, you might be able to do both western reining and dressage..

Prowlerr just offers more movement options than the other 2..And he has better bloodlines

The third stud to me did not have a lot of movement and I didnt really care for his looks..The first one was nice, but I liked Prowlerr more...

Just my thoughts..

My vote went to Prowelerr, he seems to be the most well rounded stud of the 3.

Gunner

Overall, none suit me. But Out of the 3, Iwill take the last stud , there's something about him that makes me think he would produce a nice Pintabian foal....
Even though,I hate his back legs-he has probably weak support and I wouldnt put a dime on him for a solid good ride without tripping...I do tho, like his front, which is more refined and bold - which your mare lacks[downhill]..

Anyways,

I would say the last stud on the list would be a good one to breed with, imo.

I would pick Prowlerr. 100%. Thanks for posting the pics of your mare. I'm probably the only one who hasn't seen her before. She is so pretty. If I were you I'd pick Prowlerr because I think he and your mare would produce the nicest foal.
