Standardbred info

Hi guys, not sure if this belongs here, so sorry mods if it doesn't. I was wondering if there is any way of finding info on a standardbred horse that is no longer racing and for all I know, may never have even been raced in the big leagues. I've looked on the websites at the Canadian & American societies but have gotten nowhere. I've used the search part of the site with both her name & her brand but still didn't get anything. It's more a thing of curiosity than anything. I'd just like to know a bit about my mare's background. Thanks guys.

If you go to the Members List and PM haleyg, she might be able to help you. She lives on a Standardbred breeding/training farm. Her hubby's the trainer, so they're pretty knowledgeable, and could probably find something for you.

You could also try www.allbreedpedigree.com if you pay for a daily use or monthly you can find out all kinds of stuff just on standardbreds.I did it for a friend of mine that wanted to know more about her gelding.Come to find out he had made over $80,000 in race earnings..

Thanks guys! I checked the site & she wasn't on there. I just used the free part. It's not that great of importance, I'm just curious is all.

Not sure if you PM'd haley, but I gave her the heads up that you might be contacting her. She said that would be no problem, she'd most likely be able to look it right up for you. She came into town last night and we went riding, so she might not get right back to you on it, as she won't be back home until sometime this evening

Albertagirl, I just Pm'd her. Thanks for the help.

Pixiefly, I've tried that site before. It doesn't bring her up but thanks anyway.
