Gentle Reminder: No More Conformation Critiques

Good evening all!

We would like to ask that there be no more conformation critique requests posted on the general forum. In situations where the horse is not owned by the original poster, should the owner read any comments that could be construed as negative, feelings could easily be hurt, and reputations marred.

We have a running Conformation Clinic that has been moving along pretty regularly, should anyone want to submit their horse for critique:

Your cooperation is greatly appreciated in this!

So are you saying that we can't advise people about a flaw on a horse they are looking at buying/breeding? Or that we can't just pick randon horses off the internet for fun?

She is saying that:

If you would like to have a conformation critique of your own horse, please, submit it to the Conformation Clinic. We have several volunteers that work very hard on this area. We only ask that you all have just a little patience with them.

If you are looking for advice on a horse you are looking at buying, please, post it in the buying and selling forum. Replies to such topics should be based upon facts, and kept tactful. Strongly negative replies to such topics shall be removed. Replies to conformation of said horse should be kept only in reference to what the original poster plans to use said horse for.

If you notice a random horse on the net but aren't thinking of buying it, and just want to post a topic to discuss the conformation of its 6th leg, the placement of its 3rd ear, or why it is standing funny - these topics are not allowed, as the owners of that horse could become seriously offended and seek legal action against the poster.
