We breed on foal heat, if there were no complications or issues with the delivery. BUT, we are set up for it. The foal is always within the mare's sight and away from the stud. We also have someone "babysitting" the foal.

I have bred on foal heat a couple times. I haven't had any problems with it taking. I did have an instance where my stallion attacked the foal. I now separate and hand breed.
