Linebacker-or other dun.buckskin folks

OK my mare has regular Paint papers due to face white only-is she eligible for IBHA due to her being a red dun? No belly white no white stocking-one fifty cent piece sized "misplaced"spot on one leg-between fetlock and hock.
Now I know they normally do not register paints with regular papers but...

Can you post a picture? It depends on how white her face is! But they may register her!! ABRA might also!!!

Right now I think ABRA is stricter with the white rules. They still follow the old AQHA White rule. I think IBHA has modified their rules. And both will do a case by case review

ABRA accepts horse with white marking on their head and legs, provided the white markings fall within these parameters:

On the legs, the white must not exceed the center of the knee on the front legs or the center of the hock on the hind legs.

White marking on the horses face must not extend past a line dropped from the center of the horses ear to the corner of his mouth.

White is allowed on the horses chin, but may not exceed a line drawn from one corner of the mouth to the other.

We have seriously considered registering Joe with them if we decide to show next year - which would you suggest for shows...

I like both clubs. From what we have seen, local shows IBHA is the tougher of the groups, but both are fun. For World Shows, it seems that ABRA was super tough this year. Brought many of the big AQHA exibitors in!!!

THAT is not my gear on her-the people at the "rescue" took that pic.
It is called a shoofly-but this one is on the end of the fiador knot on the rope headstall-she had one on the cinch too. Since at this point she had just a few rides-I think it is a testement to her good sense and manners that she put up with all that junk hanging off of her.
Yep Gbar I think she is pretty darn special..

I've never seen one of those before, I think your mare is very pretty, she has a pretty color and an a beautiful head.

She looks good even under that dead animal thing hanging on the bridle

I'm glad that isn't your tack I didn't want to say anything bad about it, but since it isnt yours, I think its safe to say thats pretty darn ugly, but your mare still looks very pretty.

She was a rescue? Well job well done, she looks great now.

Wow, those are good lines.

Do you know her background and how she ended up at a rescue? Sounds like an awesome find, I'll bet she moves nice as well.

No grass or hay here-so she went to a registered sale. The sellers knew that this gal was a trader-so they would not sell to her. She had someone ELSE bid the mare and buy her.
They put their icky stud in with her and he raped her-we figure she fell under him. SOOO in 3 weeks she lost a tomn of weight-was put under saddle and stoved up. Her rear leg was a mess internally
We got her-took her straight to the Vet on our way home and spent 400 bux getting her patched up.
I contacted her breeders and trust me-not going to happen again She is just fine now
She is on all breed pedigree site-Triple Zip pine

OK T-Mom... IBHA rule book 2006-2007 page 16 RR-02. Eligable Horses

D. White markings on the face and lower legs are permissible for registration. Extreme white markings such as stockings higher than the knee and face markings behind the eye and nostril, that do not reflect Paint Characteristitcs will be reviewed individually on a one-for-one basis and decision will be made by the IBHA Registration Committee and such decision shall be final.
E. Horses only eligible as Breeding Stock registered horses in another color breed registry may be eligible for IBHA registration providing all qualifications for IBHA registrations are met and acceptable.

I think E may get you T-Mom!
