I would check her for all the usuall suspects with Worms, other parasites and dental issues at the top of the list before I thought of her HYPP status causing her to lose weight.

She may be a high-energy horse that simply need more feed.

Does this seem accurate?

My mare Moons Cree is impressive bred. However, the son of Impressive, Impressor on her papers is listed as N/N. What are the chances she will have HYPP? I am thinking she won't have it because he did not have the disease Impressor N/N coming out of an N/H horse(Impressive).

Any input is appreciated.

If a horse is N/N they do not have and thus cannot pass on HYPP so unless she has another line to him there is no way she's got HYPP
