Pretty stud, who are you breeding to him? What kind of foal are you hoping to produce?

I dont' really have a good confirmation shot of my mare unfortunately. She is a tad tall at 15.2 and this guy is fairly short which is good because the older I get the shorter of a horse I want.

here's her pedigree: http://www.allbreedpedigree.com/miss+sincerete+reign

I'm hoping for a roan and would be tickled silly with a blue one

I love his face! And your girl is very pretty, too! I'll keep my fingers crossed for a blue roan for you.

Well you're basically gonna get a roan, thats for certain. It will definitely be black based so you're looking at either a Bay Roan or Blue Roan... Good odds I say!

I went snooping and found his website.

OMG, my Godmother has been trying totalk me into breeding to him for about 3 years now....I have an APHA mare that I wanted to breed to a roan and I just love him. H e throws like 99% roans or some ridiculous number....I am not quite sure what it is at the moment, but I love this horse.....I probably won't get one though, since I have decided not to breed any mares until the market is better and the economy picks up, which is going to be a long time. He is getting old and will probably be gone by the time I decidet that the world is ready for anymore foals.

Good luck to you though!!

Lucky for Sherik, Zach Blue is both homozygous roan and black. So no chance of a strawberry roan by him!

I am keeping all possible digits crossed for a blue roan I would prefer a filly, but will take either as long as it is healthy. I won't breed Reign until next spring for hopefully a March 2011 baby. I think I said the older I get the shorter of a horse I want. 14.2 would be perfect. But Blue Zach is a pretty old dude. I think they are limiting him to a few breedings a year now. My main riding horse right now is Reign's daughter from 2006. I've put a few miles on her but really plan on putting many more in the next couple of years trailriding, etc and will probaby breed her once the 2011 baby is old enough to be broke.

We are expecting a paddy's irish whiskey baby in March of 2010 and will probably breed that mare back so we'll have two babies in 2011. Hubby said I could stop working and stay home full time shortly so I'm super excited about where my life is heading

He is gorgeous! I am so jealous that you are going to have a little baby from him...especially if it turns out to be a roan . Your mare is very pretty also. I'll be waiting for pictures of the future baby!

Ya..I got confused on what you had said first and then Kanoo said something about the stud being old...Silly me I get confused easily

Im hoping for a blue roan for ya They are always beautiful horses...But a bay roan and red roan are gorgeous too. So, either way you will have a beautiful baby
And arnt you just a lucky girl! Get to be home with your horses everyday!!! Im jealous! You have a wonderful hubby it sounds like
