Drive Through Electric Fence

I am thinking about getting one of those drive through electric fence gates that have the streamers on them. I was just wondering if anyone has one that they can answer a question. My electric charger that charges the fence is pretty far away so I was wondering if you can somehow just tie it into your electric tape fenceing somehow instead of hooking it up directly to the charger? Also if anyone has any pros or cons that they have found that would be great. I want my whole property to be enclosed with electric fence but I dont want to go through the hassle of opening and closing gates constantly.

Can't answer the charger question, but know someone who had one and it scratched the vehicles. Even with all contacts covered the dirt on the vehicle caused scratch marks. Just a thought

Yes they suck-tears up your vehicles.

Get a Mighty mule gate opener-we love ours.
