I can absolutely recommend the "Newer Spreader"
It is small, ground driven and all aluminum. It is light enough for you to take off the lawn tractor,or 4 wheeler and pull right into the stall. Used the heck out of ours for 4 years. They run just under 700 now and they are great, think the addy is www.newerspreader.com

The smaller newer spreader can handle our 3 horses maure in one load. We just bought one, I love it! It takes a really short amount of time to dump. I was very surpirsed. It's nice and light and its got a handle!

when we first got ours we had a BIG manure pile that was almost compost. It took seneral trips but did it very well.
I just found this on Ebay-hard to find ground driven manure spreaders that are this big-check it out. http://cgi.ebay.com/HORSE-MANURE-SPR...em290058916138
