Looking for Horse Property near St. Louis or S. Illinois

Read Carefully: I will not be able to purchase and move until NEXT SUMMER ('07).

But I thought what the heck, I'd post this thread now. I currently live near Chicago, and in February\March I'm going to put my house up for sale. I am searching for property near St. Louis or somewhere in Southern Illinois that might be within an hour of St. Louis. I haven't even started doing the daily on-line searches yet, figure I won't do them until Spring. (I almost don't want to find anything too early!)

If anyone happens to know of something that might be coming up for sale or for sale already but sellers might be able to wait, send me a PM please.

This is going to be my very first horse property, so at this point I am pretty open to types and sizes. Here are the requirements I know I have:
-Must be at least 10 acres
-Must have horses on it currently
-Must be within 1 hour drive from downtown St. Louis, preferrably on the Illinois side of the border

Thanks,

I don't know of anything, being in Kentucky and all.

I just wanted to suggest, for when you do start your online browsing, to check out www.unitedcountry.com It's where we found this place. They're not on MLS and each office handles its own listings, but they have a lot of farm properties for sale. Maybe you'll find something there.

Whenever I did online searches, that site always had more properties that were what I was looking for. Realtor.com didn't have much for this area. But United Country did. (I don't like sounding like a fanatic, I more prefer a raving lunatic, but I had the best experience with this company, as opposed to the other, more conventional realtor's I've dealt with in other sales and purchases.)

Thanks, WC. Unitedcountry is actually the one site I visit the most for my shopping. I've even gone to look at a few in Southern Illinois, but nothing really struck my fancy yet. I like the search functions they have.

*bump*

Getting ready to put my current house on the market finally . . . tryin' real hard not to waste time drooling over properties on the Internet.

But meanwhile, if any of you out there know of properties and\or real estate agents, feel free to PM me.

Thanks!
