And then Suddenly...

It starts to look like a Barn!

Once I get that wall and the wall next to it up, it'll be time to move all that lumber so i can start diging and leveling the stall floors (I hate digging, but at least now I will be able to dig in the shade)

*gasp*

It does look like a barn! What color will the finished product be?

Since I don't see any people building it, and it just suddenly seems to appear, could you please send the little elves over to our place when you are done with them I like their work!!!

Same here, that's why I never posted. But I see it now too, and it looks great!

Wow! It's looking great. You'll have some equines in there in no time at this rate! How long do you think putting up the fencing will take?

Sorry, no little elves, just one big one - and he's the one taking the pictures! After all the work this one little barn has been, I don't think this elf is likely to try building another one!

Annie, I have no idea how long the fencing is going to take....depends on how fast the auger works, just for starters.

WOW! Looking great!

edited to add- Building a fence by yourself is HARD. DH worked on ours a few days by himslef with a little help from me and it was so difficult. We then had a "fence building party." We invited my uncle and cousin and my brother over to help and we provided food and drinks and had alot of fun (after my brother got bashed in the head with a post driver.)

I know it's been a lot of work and seems to be taking so long to finish but I can only imagine how terribly proud you must be!!! That's looking like a fine barn. That is probably the best use of scrap material I've seen yet. Congrats!!!

Tail-man (sorry Taelesan but that's what your screenname reminds me of):

I wouldn't have thought to put the roof on first but would have levelled everything out, then messed it all up by building a barn on top of it, levelled it again, then added roof & walls.

You're smarter than me.
